The Y38 Two Barrel Mercarb Carburetor is (OEM) original equipment (No automotive conversions or generic aftermarket carburetors). The pictures below show two variations of carburetor linkage hook-ups, two vacuum configurations, and where to find the carburetor number. Providing us with this information will ensure that we will deliver the same OEM carburetor as your original. Your marine carburetor will be flow tested, calibrated and idle adjusted and be ready for easy installation.

Is Core Damaged? This question is NOT for carburetors that just don't work. This is for carburetors that are physically damaged. i.e. broken air cleaner stud bracket, extreme water damage or corrosion, missing interregnal parts, or physical damage to the metal core. This also applies if you are returning a core that is different from the one you are ordering. List any damage or make of carburetor being returned in the "Additional Comments" box above. In a lot of cases you will receive 1/2 of the normal core charge. We will contact you about the amount you will be refunded.

We pay for you to return the old core from anywhere in the continental United States. The carburetor comes with a FREE UPS return shipping label. Repack your core in the box that your carburetor came in, adhere the UPS label, and give to any UPS driver or bring it to any UPS drop box.
